Reuters: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Tuesday after his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump and European leaders that security guarantees for Kyiv will likely be worked out within 10 days.

The Kyiv Independent: Ukraine will promise to buy $100 billions of U.S. weapons financed by Europe as part of a deal to get guarantees from the United States for its security after a peace settlement with Russia, FT reports. The newspaper added that under the proposals, Ukraine and the U.S. would also strike a $50 billion deal to produce drones with Ukrainian companies.

Reuters: NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said on Monday NATO membership for Ukraine was not under discussion but that there was a discussion on "Article 5" type security guarantees for the country.

The Kyiv Independent: Russia launched a wave of missile and drone attacks against Ukrainian cities on Aug. 19, hours after President Volodymyr Zelensky concluded peace talks with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House.

ISW: The Kremlin did not publicly commit to a bilateral or trilateral leader-level meeting, contrary to Trump's announcement following the August 18 multilateral summit.
