Reuters: Putin's top security adviser Sergei Shoigu has arrived in North Korea and plans to meet its leader Kim Jong Un, the TASS news agency reported on Friday, his latest visit amid dramatic advances in security ties between the countries.
The Kyiv Independent: Russia launched a mass drone attack against the southern city of Odesa overnight on March 20-21, injuring three people and damaging civilian infrastructure, Odesa Oblast Governor Oleh Kiper reported.
Reuters: Ukraine's military, quoting media, reported a strike early on Friday on a recently closed gas pumping and measuring station in western Russia's Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces have been under pressure seven months after a cross-border incursion.
