Reuters: Two key advisers to Donald Trump have presented him with a plan to end Russia's war in Ukraine -- if he wins the presidential election -- that involves telling Ukraine it will only get more U.S. weapons if it enters into peace talks.
AP News: Arrests of Americans in Russia are increasingly common with relations sinking to Cold War lows. Washington accuses Moscow of using U.S. citizens as bargaining chips, but Russia insists they all broke the law.
Reuters: The European Union will open membership talks with Ukraine on Tuesday, giving the country a political boost in the midst of its war against Russia's invasion, although a long and tough road still lies ahead before it could join the bloc.
ISW assesses that 13 kilometers of the Kerch Strait Bridge — which Russian authorities built without Ukraine's approval following Russia's illegal occupation of the peninsula in 2014 — are within Ukraine's internationally recognized territorial waters. The US policy on the Ukrainian ATACMS use, therefore, technically should allow Ukrainian forces to strike at least a section of the bridge if not the entire bridge.

AP News: The U.S. is expected to announce Tuesday it is sending an additional $150 million in critically needed munitions to Ukraine.
Bloomberg: Denmark will end its training program for Ukrainian pilots of F-16 warplanes at the end of the year to focus on its new fighter jets, the Nordic country’s defense minister said. Once the program is complete, Denmark will have trained “about” 20 pilots from Ukraine, Troels Lund Poulsen said (archive).
The Kyiv Independent: Germany provided Ukraine with 41 trucks for Ukrainian border guards serving on the front line, German Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Jaeger announced on June 24.
